five people

I recently heard that you are the "product of" -- most influenced by -- the five people with whom you spend the most time.

I love this.

Rhianna (one of my "five people") and I on a beautiful, beautiful evening in Greenpoint.

A "so-you-better-choose-wisely" argument could easily flow from this statement, but that's not why I think this concept is a special one. Instead, it's an opportunity to look at your life and the people in it and to get deeply connected to the appreciation you have for these people. Or it's a chance to be honest with yourself and think about the changes you'd like to make so that how you spend your time and with whom matches what you care about.

These moments are equally important.
