What do you burn for? A world where conflict is resolved with compassion and listening not war.

What are you learning or practicing right now? About myself: I'm learning to be easier on myself and practice acceptance. I've begun a ritual to think about the little accomplishments I've made each day when I feel overwhelmed with my list of to-dos. I'm going to yoga more. In the world: I'm in a class about Palestine, Zionism, and Israel. I'm learning why it means so much to so many. It's an emotional experience.

Punk philosophy: ready, set go!

1.  Pacifism is not passivism. If you don't like your reality, create a new one.

2. There is beauty in the most ordinary of things.

3. "People have the power to redeem the work of fools." Patti Smith

4. You can be punk and still wear pink.

5. Stand up for what you believe and start a revolution.

Why does social justice matter? There will be no peace for me until there is peace for you and in order to achieve peace for all, we must work for it together.

My favorite item in my closet is... this t-shirt because it belonged to my grandma. She passed away when I was 6, so I have few memories of her but I'm convinced I got my fashion sense from her! My family tells me that she would have spoiled me rotten by taking me shopping and buying me the best of clothes. But indeed she already has. (also it was signed in paint by an artist therefore it has to be the only one in the world right?)

Anything else we should know? I recommend reading the biographies of the Nobel Peace Prize winners. It will revolutionize the way you think about life.
